YOUNG SWISS NEPHROLOGY AWARD

The "Young Swiss Nephrology Award" is a prize of the Swiss Society of Nephrology (SGN-SSN). The award is intended to promote young clinicians and basic scientists in the field of nephrology.

The prize will be awarded at the annual meeting of the Swiss Society of Nephrology and is supported by a generous grant of Vantive GmbH (Switzerland).

Participation condition:

Abstracts submitted by YSN authors (< 40 years old) can apply to participate in the "Young Swiss Nephrology Award": please, answer “YES” to the additional question. The first author will be asked to mention his/her date of birth. The best papers will have the possibility to present their work as Oral Presentation during the YSN Session, on Thursday, 3th December 2026. One of them will be awarded “Young (<40 yo) Swiss Nephrology Award 2026” with a prize money award. The presence of the winner is desired.

ReviewThe SGN-SSN Scientific Commission will choose four top-scoring abstracts. The authors of these selected abstracts will be invited by the SSN Office to present their data at the SSN annual meeting in December 2026. The chosen candidates will be informed in October.

The finalist with the best oral presentation (selected by the Jury on site) will receive the Young Swiss Nephrology Award and the CHF 4.000.-- prize award. The winner will be announced during the Networking Dinner and the prize sponsored by Vantive will be awarded.
