For nephrologists in training
  • A theoretical update on the indications and possibilities of renal ultrasound, open to all.
  • Two hours of "hands on" exercises on volunteers and patients in small groups under the guidance of experienced sonographers.

Participants who are not SSN member can get an access at the registration desk.
 
Information on oral presentations
  • The time slot for oral presentations is 10 minutes (8 minutes presentation and 2 minutes discussion).
  • Please note that only digital material will be allowed for presentations (please use an USB stick).
  • Oral presentations must be given in English.
  • A speaker center will be at your disposal, where you can prepare your presentation.
Information on poster presentation
  • The language of the posters will be English
  • The poster format is DIN A0 (120 cm high x 90 cm wide)
  • Posters shall be affixed to display boards. Meeting staff will assist you in mounting your poster.
  • Authors are responsible for setting up and removal of their posters according to the following schedule:
  • Mounting time: Thursday, December 6, 2018 between 07.30 - 10.00
  • Removal time: Friday, December 7, 2018 by 18.00 the latest
Poster Walk

Your poster may qualify for one of the four poster prizes (CHF 500 each) of this year's meeting. Both presentation and scientific content will be taken into account by the Scientific Committee.

Please be ready to present your poster during the Posterwalk on Thursday 17.45 – 18.30.
Presentation language is English

The Poster Prizes are awarded during the Congress Dinner, on Thursday December 6, 2018 in Room B.
 
ATTENTION

Posters not removed by the specified time will be removed and discarded by Meeting staff.
The congress organization cannot accept liability for lost or damaged posters and will not mail posters to authors after the meeting.
All posters will be considered for the poster award of the SGN-SSN annual meeting.

Evaluation of Posters: The evaluation of the posters by the Poster Prize Jury will take place during the poster walk.
